{"id":1286,"date":"2021-11-29T14:38:11","date_gmt":"2021-11-29T14:38:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/egsnews.eurogeosurveys.org\/?p=1286"},"modified":"2021-11-29T14:38:12","modified_gmt":"2021-11-29T14:38:12","slug":"eurogeosurveys-at-the-raw-materials-week-2021-charting-the-path-for-a-more-secure-and-resilient-supply","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/egsnews.eurogeosurveys.org\/?p=1286","title":{"rendered":"EuroGeoSurveys at the Raw Materials Week 2021: charting the path for a more secure and resilient supply"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>From 15th to 19th November 2021, key policy makers, industrial players, and a wide range of stakeholders engaged in discussions during the \u201cRaw Materials Week\u201d 2021 edition, hosted yearly by the European Commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this context, and as a partner of the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/scrreen.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\">H2020 project SCRREEN2<\/a>, EuroGeoSurveys took part in the \u201c<em>4th EU Critical Raw Materials\u201d<\/em> event, organized in collaboration with DG GROW on 15th November. The event aimed at raising awareness about the necessity of critical raw materials, reducing dependencies on strategic raw materials with improvements in their circularity which should be reflected in a far more robust European Circular Economy agenda and the inclusion of sustainable raw materials into the Just Transition agenda.
